Thomas is a Managing Director at New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM), where he leads two complementary mandates: Head of Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) and Head of Digital Asset Solutions. As Head of MAS, Tom oversees a team of portfolio managers, strategists, traders, and researchers managing over $11 billion in global investment strategies — building solutions for institutional and individual clients. The team is also responsible for delivering economic and market thought leadership that empower investment decisions across NYLIM's clients, partners, and stakeholders.

In his digital assets role, Tom co-founded NYLIM's digital assets initiative, driving the firm's strategic efforts to harness blockchain technology. His focus is on the role digital assets will play in the next generation of investment solutions — developing new on-chain rails that unlock the ability to design portfolios with greater precision, access previously illiquid exposures, and deliver solutions that were operationally out of reach until now.

Prior to his current roles, Thomas led Alternative Investments Product Development, building alternative products for institutional and retail clients. Before joining NYLIM, he was a management consultant at Bridgewater Associates. Earlier in his career, Thomas was a mergers and acquisitions associate at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he focused on expanding MSIM's alternative investment platform through acquisitions, minority stakes, and investment team lift-outs.
